How completely AWESOME was this episode?
CAN I FORM COHERENT SENTENCES RIGHT NOW? PROBABLY NOT. BUT I'LL TRY ANYWAYS.
( DOCTOR WHO SPOILERS WATERS OF MARS AND END OF TIME )
Doctor Who, you are still my favorite show.

Heh, I've only now realised that Moist from Dr. Horrible and Howard Wolowitz from the Big Bang Theory are the same person. I was just listening to the Dr. Horrible Musical Commentary and suddenly some guy called Simon came on and wanted to sing his song and I was like 'Hey, I recognise that voice!' so Google and hey Simon Helberg plays both Moist and Wolowitz! Even more love for Dr. Horrible. I only saw TBBT after I saw Dr. Horrible and I never made the connection, but yay :)
And Simon is kindof awesome in this as well:
Simon: "Hey guys, how's it going?"
Others: "Hey Simon (what's he doing here?), what's up?"
Simon: "I was just wondering if I could maybe sing my song now, I know it was technically cut out..
Joss or whoever: "Yeah."
Simon: "I dont know, I understand with the timeslot on the internet ("Uhuh")...that there wasn't time...but I really have a lot of demons that I'd love to get out."
*Cue Nobody wants to Moist song*
Also, I got this from this post in
doctorwho and it's apparantly from the 2010 DW Storybook and this particular thing was send in by RTD himself and seems to be sort of describing Ten's life. Including the End..?
Well, I got back a few days ago and I didn't quite have the time to look at all your entries, but in short, I gathered these are a few of the important things I missed in fandom this last month:
Eleven's Costume plus TARDIS change
Eleven's sonic screwdriver
Major Torchwood freak-outs - OMG JACK, WTF IANTO and/or the other way around and Gwen was kind of awesome.
Comic Con panels - I still have to catch up on all of these! Well not all of them. I did see that one with the DW panel. And that lovely DT introduction to Planet of the Dead. Which was awesome. (Hear this last word in Scottish accent, which makes it even more awesome)
And I ofcourse saw that Comic Con 'The End of Time' Trailer
Exams are over which means: PARTYYY
And I now will totally catch up on my flist, I'm sorry I haven't been commenting, but STRESS TOOK ME OVER. AND THIS IS NOW GONE. SO YAY :D I will not think about my thesis Im going to have to write this summer.
Just because I love John Simm and to take my mind off my lovely Law books, here's a random poll :D
Not only is DOLLHOUSE renewed (YAY), but also Scrubs :D I didn't even know the show would go on without Zach Braff. I thought he definitely said this would be his last season and I assumed that would mean the last season of Scrubs and I was watching the finale as a SERIES finale and now it's RENEWED and Zach Braff will be back for 6 episodes and could this day start off any better?! I THINK NOT.
Unexpected!happiness is the best kind of happiness=D
I also tried to convert some friends into watching Doctor Who. Sadly I only have the series 1 DVD box (long story, in my country they have the complete first series in a box, but they don't sell the second series as a complete boxset but per 3 episodes and I want them in one box. And they don't sell the third and fourth series at all. I could obviously buy from Amazon or something, but I want other people to watch it as well and they won't watch anything without Dutch subtitles.) Anyways, I wondered what would be the best episode from series 1 to show them and then to fall completely in love with the show.
I let my brother watch The Empty Child and he totally loved it and he just HAD to see The Doctor Dances and after that we watched the entire box in 2 days, so I thought The Empty Child would be a good episode to show my friends. But they hated it.
"It's so unreal, What's that blue box? It travels through time and space... OK.. An invisible spaceship..? So that Jack guy is from the future..?"
And they didn't even want to watch The Doctor Dances afterwards. How can you not want to see how it ends..?. I'm starting to wonder why these people are even my friends. I really thought this would be the best episode to get them into Doctor Who, because they love scary things and I thought the 'Are you my mummy' and the kids in gasmasks were scary enough. Maybe I just should've started with Rose, but now they don't want to watch anything DW related anymore. Maybe if I ever get my hands on series 2 with Dutch subtitles in a complete boxset, they will be distracted by the pretty that is Ten and then learn to appreciate the story afterwards.
